Cold hair restoration (sometimes also called cold botox or reconstruction) is an intensive hair care procedure designed to restore the structure of damaged, dry, and weakened hair without thermal processing (without a straightener and high temperatures).
It works inside the hair, not just visually masking the problem.
How does it work?
Unlike hot procedures (keratin, nanoplastics, or hot botox), where the product is "worked into" the hair at temperatures of 200°C–230°C, cold restoration uses products with a low molecular weight.
The amino acids, keratin, proteins, lipids, and vitamins in the composition can penetrate deep into the hair's cortex (inner layer) and fill the damaged areas.
To enhance the effect, auxiliary devices that do not use heat are often used, such as the action of ultrasonic and infrared flat irons (which break down product molecules into even smaller particles, helping them penetrate the hair) or a thermal cap for gentle warmth.
Main benefits
Structural restoration: Fills voids in the hair caused by bleaching, dyeing, or frequent hot styling.
Elasticity and strength: Prevents hair breakage and the "gummy" effect (especially relevant for over-bleached hair).
Hydration and shine: Restores the hair's natural moisture level, making it soft, smooth, and vibrant.
Maximum safety: Since no heat is used, the procedure is 100% safe even for the most damaged hair, which should not be touched with hot tools.
Who is this procedure suitable for?
Severely damaged, bleached, and chemically treated hair.
Hair that has lost elasticity and breaks.
Dry, porous hair that frizzes.
Clients who want to improve hair health but do not want to lose their natural curls or volume (because the procedure does not straighten the hair).
